Ode to ADAM

                                      At the bottom of the sea there is a slug.
                                       That can make a King of a pauper,
                                                    or a god of a thug.
                                      Be smart as a fox and strong as a bear.
                                  Have a flat stomach and a full head of hair.
                                                Abilities beyond belief,
                                              Is there among the reefs.
                                Make fire and ice, and be a quick as the winds.
                                  Impress the wife, show off to your friends.
                                                         Want power?
                                                     It's a Cornucopia!
                                          But if needles are your phobia,
                                       if those metal pricks are your bane,
                                           all you get is to stay human
                                                    and remain sane.
